Student Reporters Column
Every year, graduating dental students across the country buff up their resumes and prepare to apply to advanced specialty programs. With so many applicants every year, students plan ahead to be a competitive applicant by being involved in leadership, volunteering and research during their four years of dental school. KADA and USC KDSA present and wish to congratulate Ronald Chung, Hyun Ji Sophia Kang and Joseph Park of the graduating DDS class of 2014 for their matriculation into postdoctoral residency programs. Ronald Chung has been matched into the orthodontic residency program of University of the Pacific (UOP) this past December. Hyun Ji Kang is 1 of 4 applicants who were accepted into the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics at Loma Linda University early in the summer last year. Joseph Park is starting a 1-year internship in oral surgery at UCSF following graduation. KADA would also like to congratulate two matched students from UCSF School of Dentistry. Class of 2014 Stephen Rheem has matched to University of Southern Nevada-Roseman Health Science Orthodontics/MBA program. Corey Song will be joining the GPR program at USC. Congratulations again to these three USC and two UCSF dental students for their accomplishments!
